This is the end game folks! We have [one week][] to stop software patents in the EU. Yes, I know the EU Parliament voted to [restart][] the process. But it seems that the commission sent back a big [diplomatic][] [fuck off][]. They are going full steam ahead to get their "technical effect" wording pushed onto all of the countries in the EU. The differences is this time [Poland][] said they wont be able to stop it. BUT they did say that [if someone else were to go against it][] they would help. This all may sound really bleak, but on the bright side the Spanish government just [voted down][] unanimously the patent directive at home. Which hopefully means Spain will replace Poland as our leader against software patents.
