Some games are now going to be forcing firmware updates to version 1.50 (So you can still use homebrew if you want). Which ones? Portagame then asks the question would I update for a awsome game the points to GTA. For the record GTA is not a awsome game. Updating means: you lose the ability to run homebrew code! How could the GTA60000 be worth the ability to run whatever code you want?
Not only that the updates that are out there dont really add anything. Mostly just attempts to stop people from running homebrew code. There has been no browser update or email or chat or whatever. It just fixing bugs.
Well, you can still use home brew with the 1.50 version. But I am sure Sony will continue to push versions with games.
So, to answer the question on portagame: No!
