I am very far from what I would call a Naruto fan boy. In 2003 a friend showed me the first couple episodes of a not too well known anime called Naruto. I thought it was okay. Four years later Naruto is everywhere. I do not personally watch the show but recently the show has creeped into my mind.
I have been looking for a new online game to get into. My brother recently showed me an online game called Naruto Arena. Surprisingly, the game is actually really fun! It feels like the console RPG battle system meets card game. You create teams consisting for three characters from the show.
The goal of the game is to use your character abilities to defeat another player's three characters. Each character has four abilities that range from making them invulnerable for one turn to damaging your opponents team members. You get a random number of chakra points at the beginning of your turn. Abilities require certain type and amount of chakra points to use them.
To unlock you new characters to use you complete "Ninja Missions" which involve completing certain events during battles. An example event is defeat Naruto with Sakura. The game keeps track of wins, losses and your current rank.
I suggest checking it out even if you not a fan of the show. It can become quite addicting.
